  • Just wanted to take a second to say how absolutely happy I have been with all of my transactions with Fretspot and with Donovan. Every piece of equipment that I have purchased has been absolutely stellar and I have been overwhelming happy with the quality, amount of clarity on the items and description, as well as Donovan’s accountability and accessibility. It makes working with him an absolute pleasure. I would recommend anyone to work with him and his team at Fretspot. Please keep up the great work!!

    I’d like to highly recommend Fretspot.com to discriminating bassists shopping for high end gear. Three years ago I visited Donovan’s home and demoed several instruments. I eventually became the proud owner of a gorgeous and amazingly rich sounding FBass BN5. Donovan went out of his way to answer my barrage of questions, work out a very fair trade deal, and ensure that I was pleased with the instrument. He is knowledgeable and passionate about fine basses, honest, down-to-earth, has a great sense of humor, and consistently places the satisfaction of his customers above his own interests. And he continues to support and build relations with his customers long after the sale. In short, Donovan is a great guy to deal with! I admire and endorse his unique business model for selling quality musical instruments.
