Pickup Positions – 60′s vs 70′s?

Here’s a great pic from Marcel @ FBass showing the location differences between jazz pickup in the 60′s position vs the 70′s position.

The tonal differences are primarily that the 70′s position has a more midrange and a bit less low end…
