In Japan this was considered among the VERY top custom made bass guitars by luthier Toshio Setozaki until his death in the early 2000’s. The brand was discontinued after his death making this brand super collectible and rare to find in good condition. The OB5 was the flagship model.
It has a small body, slim neck, and overall compact design. To my eye, it is reminiscent of an F Bass Studio.

Just some light scratches/scuffs on the instrument, with a chip/ding on the tip of the headstock. Overall, I’d say it’s an 8.5 out of 10.

The neck is straight, back of the neck is clean, the fingerboard and frets are excellent (no grooves or flat spots), action has been set very low with new strings.
