This is it—the “Desert Island” bass. The F Bass BN5 is a legendary model for a reason, and this specific build is one of the most beautiful examples we’ve ever had through the shop. Featuring a stunning Indian Rosewood top over an Alder body, this bass delivers the perfect blend of punch, warmth, and high-end clarity.
Condition: This is a used instrument, but it is in perfect condition. We have inspected the headstock, the bottom of the body, and the overall finish—there are no flaws to be found. It is basically brand new.
The Build: The top on this bass is a “ridiculous” piece of Indian Rosewood that looks remarkably similar to the ultra-high-quality boards found on boutique vintage-style builds. The neck is a highly stable 5-ply Maple and Bubinga construction with flame maple in the middle, topped with a gorgeous Macassar Ebony fingerboard.
