This Roscoe Century 5 Custom was born from a moment of inspiration—while wood-shopping for a customer, I spotted this stunning flame maple top and knew I had to build something around it. The result is a bass that’s visually arresting and sonically punchy, with a uniquely elegant purple gloss finish that absolutely belongs on stage.
With Bartolini electronics, a birdseye maple fingerboard, and a lightweight swamp ash body, this bass offers clarity, warmth, and punch in one refined package. It sits right in the tonal sweet spot between the silky smoothness of an F Bass and the articulate growl of an MTD.
